Medieval Moment

Who would I be in MCD AD?
Seems about right....

The Monk

You scored 21% Cardinal, 69% Monk, 47% Lady, and 27% Knight!
You live a peaceful, quiet life. Very little danger comes your way and you live a long time. You are wise and modest. You have little comfort, little food and have taken a vow of silence. But who needs chatter when just sitting in the cloister of your abbey with a good book makes you perfectly content.

Uh, 47% + 69% + 21% + 27% = 164%!

I think the percentiles are internal to the individual category. Or maybe it implies that I have multiple personalities. Could go either way....

I swear this sort of test ought to have a cut-out where every single solitary test-taker gets "peasant", "serf", "peon" or "slave". Reminds me of those reincarnation-enthusiasts who are always determining that they were royalty or something else romantic in a past life, rather than the ditch-digger they would have most likely have been, by statistical likelihood.

Same doesn't go for ancestors, BTW. You're statistically much more likely to have noble or royal ancestry than you'd otherwise expect, on account of the higher reproductive efficiency of the well-armed and well-fed.

Easy enough to design such a test. How about who is your inner serf/churl/villein/varlot?

Nah, it's the obnoxious bait-and-switch that would be the payoff. People come in expecting to be a monk, bishop, knight, queen, village witch, whatever - and get the peasant. Every. Single. Time. Make sure to "salt" the livejournals and assorted semi-blogs with misleading "I'm a duke!" "I'm a countess" meme-images which can't actually be gotten through the test no matter which questions you answer any which way you can.
